Our Vision

1ST-Gen Scholars is committed to advancing educational equity for underrepresented students wishing to pursue STEM/Tech disciplines. 1ST-Gen Scholars is changing the world together one student at a time. An educational journey albeit challenging, is NEVER impossible, including in STEM. All students regardless of zip-code, race, gender, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status must be afforded equitable educational opportunities.



Our Mission

Provide P12 Students with early access into STEM/Tech, College and Career Pathways, while also increasing P12 STEM Teacher Retention and Diversity in schools.

Our IMPACT

While our focus is underrepresented 1st-Gen students wishing to pursue STEM fields, we are committed to assisting ALL students that need guidance and support.

1st-Gen Scholars facilitates programs in partnership with schools, organizations, and both local and national universities.

Early Childhood STEM

STEM activities supporting early math, literacy, and motor skills development.

Elementary STEM

STEM/Tech activities supporting math, literacy, and science; introducing career exploration and early coding skills.

Middle School STEM

STEM/Tech activities supporting math, literacy, and science; encouraging college and career pathways with intermediate/advanced coding skills.

High School STEM

STEM/Tech activities supporting math, literacy, and science; encouraging college and career pathways, computer science, combined with mentoring support.
